At the World Championship Longboard Dance & Freestyle, you will be mesmerized by the skill and creativity on display. From gravity-defying tricks and spins to fluid dance routines, longboarders will amaze you with their artistry on their boards. But the excitement doesn’t stop there – the atmosphere of the event is just as exciting. With several rooms, you can watch the competition, visit pop-up shops, take free longboard lessons and practice and exchange tricks with other enthusiasts. You will be surrounded by a positive and energetic atmosphere that will leave you feeling inspired and uplifted.
SO.. welcome to a weekend full of adventure and excitement! Not only will you see some of the world’s best longboarders in action, but you may also discover a new hobby or passion. The longboarding community is incredibly welcoming, making it the perfect activity for anyone looking to try something new and have fun doing it. The competitions are for a wide variety of longboarders. There is a ‚groms‘ competition where the youngest longboarders show that they are the future. In addition to the Dance and Freestyle competitions for the pros, there is also a competition for (yet) sponsored longboarders. The winners of this competition will be scouted by longboard brands and will compete next year in the professional class.
The Hippy jump competition (like a traditional high jump competition but with jumping off the board back on the board) is always exciting!
‚Best Trick‘ and ‚G-Turn‘ are also breathtakingly exciting. Will a spectacular ‚trick‘ be landed during the ‚moment supreme‘?
The event is for everyone. All professionals who have the opportunity to come are there! But also day visitors, curious parents with their children, practitioners of other board sports, and especially those who want to try it can indulge themselves. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy.
